“Mahindra engine is completely compliant with existing petrol standards and all of our vehicles can be safely operated with E20 fuel. Vehicles produced after April 1 2025 are specially calibrated for E20 fuel to ensure acceleration and fuel efficiency,” the SUV-maker said in a statement.
For earlier manufactured vehicles, Automekar said, “Even when driving is completely safe, there is a minor difference between acceleration or fuel efficiency depending on the behavior of driving.”
Considering the minor differences in either acceleration or fuel efficiency, Mahindra has promised to honor all the warranty commitment to his customers because of the e20 fuel consumption in his vehicles.
“Mahindra has always been at the forefront of supporting and accepting government initiatives around Biofuels, especially the Biofuels, when the CEO of Mahindra’s Automotive Division said that 20% of the fuel from Ethanol said that the company should soon reach the customers.
